Students enjoy Chamber of Commerce meeting ahead of election
Samuel Ward hosted the Haverhill Chamber of Commerce Last Friday Breakfast meeting.

Around 60 people attended including students from Samuel Ward Academy Sixth Form and a number of students from Castle Manor and their Primary schools.

The candidates (Matt Hancock - Conservative, Julian Flood - UKIP,  Elfreda Tealby-Watson - Lib Dem,  Michael Jeffrys - Labour) were given a 10 minute slot to promote their party; then there was a question and and answer session.

Our students found the event very interesting will make an informed decision when they cast their vote on Thursday 7 May 2015!
