A school teaching assistant is celebrating after winning a top art award.

Trudy Harman, who teaches at Glemsford Primary Academy’s nursery, submitted a pastel drawing of her dog, Fergal, for the national Jackson’s Painting Prize.

She admitted she was shocked to discover she had been named the winner of the People’s Choice Award.

A Suffolk teacher has launched his own daily video to get the local community fit and healthy.

Tujan Sari, head of Key Stage 3 PE at Samuel Ward Academy in Haverhill, today started his own fitness video on the school’s YouTube channel.

Tujan said: “I wanted to do something to try and keep everyone fit and active, regardless of your age or fitness.
